C2Fs Coming the Week of October 13, 2019

It's the beginning of the end for Arrow, along with boatloads of other C2F goodness coming this week of October 13, 2019.

October 13

Marvel's Spider-Man - season 2, episode 19, "Superior Spider-Man" airs on Disney XD. Superior Spider-Man (currently Doc Ock) must face his most challenging opponent yet when Venom escapes from stasis and attacks Midtown High seeking revenge on Peter Parker. But when the villain senses that Superior is not Peter Parker, he threatens to hurt Anna Maria - a new companion Ock has grown close to - making Superior Spider-Man choose whether to give Peter his body back or lose his only friend.

Supergirl - season 5, episode 2, "Stranger Beside Me" airs on The CW. Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), Alex (Chyler Leigh), and Brainiac (Jesse Rath) thwart an alien attack while William (Staz Nair) investigates Kara. J'onn J'onzz (David Harewood) and Kelly (Azie Tesfai) use Obsidian tech to solve a problem. 

Batwoman - season 1, episode 2, airs on The CW. Back in Gotham, battling Alice (Rachel Skarsten) and the Wonderland Gang from the shadows, Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) continues to be haunted by the events surrounding her sister's death 15 years earlier. While the city holds on to hope that Batman has returned, Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott) and the Crows up the stakes trying to take down the villainous crew. Kate continues to look to Bruce Wayne's legacy for guidance as Luke Fox (Camrus Johnson) inadvertently gets pulled into Batwoman's vigilante heroics.

The Walking Dead - season 10, episode 2, "We Are the End of the World" airs on AMC. The origins of Alpha and Beta are revealed; Alpha attempts to toughen up Lydia as they prepare to walk with the dead; the Whisperers create their herds.

October 14

Black Lightning - season 3, episode 2, "The Book of Occupation: Chapter Two" airs on The CW. With Freeland under occupation, the Pierce family gets pulled in different directions; Jefferson and Lynn are at odds with each other; Jennifer feels powerless despite having powers.

October 15

Hellboy - becomes available in 4k Ultra HD. This is the 2004 Guillermo del Toro film, starring Ron Perlman, Selma Blair, Doug Jones and John Hurt, enjoying a 15th anniversary release.

Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans - becomes available on Blu-Ray and DVD. The comedic modern-day quintet takes on their 2003 counterparts when villains from each of their worlds join forces to pit the two Titan teams against each other. They'll need to set aside their differences and work together to combat Trigon, Hexagon, Santa Claus (that's right, Santa!) and time itself in order to save the universe.

The Flash - season 6, episode 2, "A Flash of Lightning" airs on The CW. John Wesley Shipp guest stars. Faced with the news of his impending death, Barry's (Grant Gustin) resiliency suffers as he struggles to fight fate. Meanwhile, Cecile's (Danielle Nicolet) career as a D.A. conflicts with her identity when she crosses paths with a villainous meta-human.

Arrow - season 8, episode 1, "Starling City" airs on The CW. While trying to decipher The Monitor's mission, Oliver returns to Starling City where he encounters familiar faces; Mia and William's team clash with a new foe.

October 16

Ant-Man and The Wasp - gets a 4K Digital and Ultra HD Release. Scott Lang is grappling with the consequences of his choices, as both the Super Hero Ant-Man and a father, in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War. As he struggles to rebalance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission to rescue Janet van Dyne from the Quantum Realm. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp, all while attempting to serve house arrest, assist fast talking-Luis and the X-con Security crew, and thwart the efforts of a new adversary called Ghost and her ally Bill Foster.

Stumptown - season 1, episode 4, "Family Tiees" airs on ABC. Dex faces off against Artie Banks to take down wealthy real estate mogul Randall Tapper. Meanwhile, Detective Cosgrove leads an investigation to find Wallace Kane, a prisoner on the loose.

Riverdale - season 4, episode 2, "Chapter Fifty-Nine: Fast Times at Riverdale High" airs on The CW. Archie (KJ Apa) encourages Mad Dog (Eli Goree) to attend Riverdale High and join the football team. Jughead (Cole Sprouse) meets Mr. Chipping (guest star Sam Witwer), who offers him a spot at an elite school called Stonewall Prep. Veronica (Camila Mendes) is conflicted when information about her involvement in Hiram's (Mark Consuelos) arrest leaks to the public. Kevin (Casey Cott) applies for a spot on the Blue & Gold to make amends with Betty (Lili Reinhart). And Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) goes head to head with Mr. Honey (guest star Kerr Smith), the school's new principal.

October 18

Titans - season 2, episode 7, "Bruce Wayne" airs on DC Universe. Hmmmm...who is this Bruce Wayne chap and was does he have to do with the Titans?

October 19

Men in Black - is available on Netflix. It's the 1997 inide-comic-to-film classic that helped make Will Smith on of Hollywood's top leading men, and spawned three sequels and a toon show. Watch it now on the streamer.
