Violent Cases (film)

Violent Cases is a planned feature film adaptation of the Titan Books graphic novel of the same name, written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Dave McKean.

Ben Kingsley (Iron Man 3) is attached to star in the picture as the osteopath.

Colm McCarthy is set to direct from a script by Mike Carey. The pair previously collaborated on the smash indie horror film The Girl With All the Gifts. 

Camille Gatin, who produced that film is a producer here, along with McCarthy under their Scary Monster banner.

Edmund Kingsley is producing for Lakesville Productions, while Carlos Enrique Cuscó and Ari Taboada produce for Foton.Pictures.

Titan Books provides a description of the book writing, "Violent Cases reveals the often murky nexus between memory and imagination through the narrator’s cloudy childhood remembrance of a visit to Al Capone’s osteopath — and the impact of his seedy stories on a impressionable youth."
