Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is adjusting to life with a homicidal symbiote while serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) sits on death row. Their worlds collide when Spider-Man's most dangerous foe emerges from the executioner's needle in this first trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The movie is due in theaters September 24.
Venom: Let There be Carnage is Sony Pictures Entertainment's the 2021 sequel to the 2018 box-office hit Venom, both based on the the Marvel Comics character.
Tom Hardy returns as Eddie Brock, the guerrilla journalist who has bonded with the alien symbiote giving him a monstrous alter-ego call Venom. As was teased in the original film, Woody Harrelson is on board to play Cletus Kasady, a serial killer who also bonds with a symbiote and becomes the even-more-dangerous villain Carnage. Naomie Harris also stars as a woman confined to the Ravencroft institute who likely becomes the symbiote villain Shriek. Michelle Williams also stars.
Andy Serkis is directing from a script by Kelly Marcel, who co-wrote the original.
