Val-Zod (Film)

Val-Zod is a planned HBO Max live-action feature film based on the DC Comics character of the same name.

Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) have been tapped to write the script for the film. Michael B. Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo are producing for Outlier Society. It has not been announced whether or not Jordan would also star in the film. Stefano Agosto would oversee the development for Outlier.

In the comics, Val-Zod is a Kryptonian who escapes the dying planet and lands on Earth 2, and becomes the Superman of that world.
