Untitled Walking Dead Movie Teaser

At Comic-Con today, Skybound Entertainment dropped a teaser touting the surprise announcement that there will be a feature film set in The Walking Dead universe, which looks to reveal the fate of Rick Grimes. 

Grimes is a staple of the comics and the series, played by Andrew Lincoln. Lincoln left the show at the mid-point of season 9, causing a significant reshuffling of the deck. 

We're guessing the movie takes place in the six-year gap that happens in that season.

Universal is named as the distributor for the film's theatrical release.
