Malcolm Spellman, writer and producer of Empire, is revealed to be the head writer of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Director Kari Skogland (The Handmaid's Tale) promises a blend of action and comedy as well as the emotional depth that movies don't always allow.
Emily VanCamp will reprise her roles as Sharon Carter, last seen in Captain America: Civil War. Wyatt Russell joins the cast at John Walker, also known as the Captain America replacement U.S. Agent.
Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen chatted up WandaVision calling it "avant garde, weird and out there," but also epic. Kat Dennigs and Randall Park will reprise their MCU characters from Thor and Ant-Man respectively. Kathryn Hahn joins the cast as well.

Bryan Andrews (Jackie Chan Adventures) is directing.
Michael Waldron (HarmonQuest) is the head writer for Loki. Director Kate Herron (Sex Education) promises the show will reveal new facets of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
