The Old Guard | Photos, Release Date for the New Charlize Theron Film

Netflix has launched an official twitter for the comics adaptation, The Old Guard, starring Charlize Theron, which has announced a July 10 release date for the movie. The feed carries a slew of photos of the cast of the movie, which also include Kiki Layne and Chiwetel Ejiofor. The film is based on the Image Comics series by Greg Rucka (Stumptown) and Leandro Fernandez. Gina Prince-Bythewood (Before I Fall) is the director.

Netflix previously described the movie as revolving around Theron and Layne as members of "a covert group of immortal mercenaries who must fight to keep their team together when they discover the existence of a new immortal and their extraordinary abilities are exposed."
