The Losers (2010 Film)
The Losers is Warner Bros' 2010 feature film adaptation of the DC/Vertigo comics series of the same name created by Andy Diggle and Jock.
The film finds an elite team of wetworks operatives who are betrayed by their commander and nearly killed. Having survived Clay (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Roque (Idris Elba), Jensen (Chris Evans), Pooch (Columbus Short) and Couger (Oscar Jaenada) find themselves teamed with Aisha (Zoe Saldana) on a campaign of payback against their former boss Max (Jason Patric).
The movie was directed by Sylvain White from a script by Peter Berg and James Vanderbilt.
The Losers was met with a luke-warm reaction by critics and fans of the comics. It was also a weak performer at the box office in a year that saw two other elite-soliders-left-for-dead films, The A-Team and The Expendables.
