The Flash | Final Trailer

Barry (Ezra Miller) thinks travelling back in time will allow him to fix things, but he quickly finds he is very, very mistaken in this final trailer for The Flash. See the movie in theaters June 16.

The Flash is the 2023 Warner Bros. Discovery film spinning out of the 2017 DC Extended Universe film Justice League. It is based on the DC Comics speedster character of the same name.

Ezra Miller, who played the character in Justice League and had a cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, reprises his role as the multiple versions of DCU's scarlet speedster.

According to press materials: Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no superheroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian albeit not the one he's looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry's only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

Andy Muschietti (It, It: Chapter Two) is attached to direct from a script by Christina Hodson (Birds Of Prey) from a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein (Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Joby Harold (Transformers: Rise of the Beasts) which reportedly features a storyline that draws from the Flashpoint comics.

The film is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco. Executive producers are Toby Emmerich, Walter Hamada, Galen Vaisman and Marianne Jenkins.
