You like supehero action? Here's a supercut of the Prime Video's best brawls from Invincible, The Boys and The Boys Presents: Diabolical. Watch all three on Prime now.
Invincible is the animated TV series for Amazon Prime Video based on the Image Comics series of the same name created by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley.
According to press materials, Invincible is an adult animated superhero series that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.
In addition to Yeun and Simmons, the voice cast includes Sandra Oh as Deborah Grayson, Zachary Quinto as Robot, Khary Payton as Black Samson, Lauren Cohan as War Woman, Sonequa Martin-Green as Green Ghost, Chad Coleman as Martian Man, Michael Cudlitz as Red Rush, Lennie James as Darkwing and Ross Marquand as The Immortal.
Also cast are Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen, Zazie Beetz, Gillian Jacobs, Chris Diamantopolous, Grey Griffin, Jason Mantzoukas, Walton Goggins, Andrew Rannels and Kevin Michael Richardson, Mahershala Ali, Clancy Brown, Nicole Byer, Jeffrey Donovan, Jonathan Groff, Jon Hamm, Djimon Hounsou and Ezra Miller as D.A. Sinclair.
Simon Racioppa is the showrunner and executive producer. Kirkman also serves as executive producers along with David Alpert and Catherine Winder. Justin Copeland and Chris Copeland are supervising directors.
The initial order from Amazon is for eight, one-hour episodes.
The Boys is the 2019 TV adaptation of the comic series created by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.
The show is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Hughie's (Jack Quaid) ordinary life is upended when A-Train (Jessie Usher), the speedster superhero, kills Hughie's girlfriend in an accidental collision. Not placated by the payout from the super team "The Seven" and their corporate masters a Vought Industries, Hughie falls under the spell of Billy Butcher (Karl Urban). Like him Butcher is bitter about the way supers trample over regular people. Unlike Hughie, Butcher has the training and resources to actually do something about it. Hughie joins Butcher's squad, informally known as "the Boys," and begins a campaign to take down The Seven.
The cast also includes Elisabeth Shue, Erin Moriarty, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara and Tomer Kapon.
The Boys was developed for television by Eric Kripke, Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen. The series streams on Amazon.
The Boys Presents: Diabolical is a Prime Video animated series spinning off from the The Boys.
The show is an anthology of eight stories set in the world of the main series. Authors of the episodes are Awkwafina (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Garth Ennis (comics series creator), Eliot Glazer and Ilana Glazer (Broad City), Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen (Series Producers), Simon Racioppa (Invincible), Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty) and Ben Bayoth (Blark and Son), Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine Nine) and Aisha Tyler (Fear The Walking Dead).
Eric Kripke, Rogen and Goldberg are producing.
