Oscar Isaac and director Charles Vernon take a look back at the comics of Charles Addams and discuss incorporating that classic vision into MGM's modern CGI film, The Addams Family.
The movie arrives in theaters October 11th.
The Addams Family is the 2019 MGM animated feature film based on the comic strips of Charles Addams. It is the first film in the 2019 Addams Family film series. From the studio: The eccentrically macabre family moves to a bland suburb where Wednesday Addams' friendship with the daughter of a hostile and conformist local reality show host exacerbates conflict between the families. The cast includes Oscar Isaac as Gomez, Charlize Theron as Morticia, Chloe Grace Moretz as Wednesday, Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley, Nick Kroll as Uncle Fester, Bette Midler as Grandma, Snoop Dogg as Cousin It. Allison Janney, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara and Tituss Burgess also provide voice. The movie was directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan ( Sausage Party) from a script by Matt Lieberman.
