Robert Kirkman's Invincible Arrives in March
Amazon Prime Video has announced that the animated series Invincible is set to debut on March 26th. Based on the comics by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, the series will feature one hour episodes and be targeted at adults. Amazon will launch with three episodes and then switch to a weekly Friday release, as they did with season two of The Boys. The finale will launch April 30.
Previously-announced cast includes Steven Yeun as the lead hero and J.K. Simmons as his Superman-esque father.
The King's Man Moves to August
A report from Deadline around Disney release dates reveals The King's Man will now hit theaters on August 20, instead of March 12. The March date was the second rescheduling of the film which was originally set to debut in February of last year. The moves are all due, of course, to the shut down of movie theaters due to the global pandemic. Disney's flagship Marvel Studios films Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings are, on the other hand keeping their current release dates of May 7th and July 9th.
