Peacemaker 2 Announced

Gunn tweeted, "That’s right, [Peacemaker] is coming back for Season Two. Thanks to Peter Safran, [John Cena], our incredible cast & crew, our wildly supportive & lovely friends at [HBO Max] - and mostly all of you for watching!"
A press release from WarnerMedia also announced the renewal and contained the information that Gunn is writing and directing every episode of season two, as he did with season one.
Original Post:
Deadline reports that HBO and HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys made some affirmative comments about the prospects of Peacemaker season two at the TCA Presentation for the network. "I'm feeling good so stay tuned. The show's been doing great," the executive told Deadline when asked about the prospects of another round, then added, "Looking good."
Bloys declined to comment on the other Suicide Squad spin-off series that filmmaker James Gunn recently dropped hints about. With regards to that hypothetical project Bloys told Deadline, "I don’t want to take anything away from James. I think he has been such a terrific partner on the show so I will let him talk about any plans he wants to share."
Season one of Peacemaker wraps up tomorrow on HBO Max.
