JumpStart (TV Series)

JumpStart is a planned CBS Television Network live-action TV series based on the comic strip Jump Start created by Robb Armstrong.

Wayne Conley (Queen Sugar) is writing the series.

The paperback collection offers this description: Joe and Marcy Cobb are the quintessential young married couple complete with a baby, two busy careers, and eccentric parents. An eminently likable pair, Joe and Marcy juggle their relationship, their jobs-he's a police officer, she's a nurse-and raising their daughter, Sunny.

Cast in the pilot so far are Terry Crews as Joe Cobb, Ryan Michelle Bathé as Marcy Cobb, Rob Corddry as Crunchy (Joe's Partner and best friend) and Glynn Turman as Joe's father Frank.

Aaron Kaplan is producing for Kapital Entertainment. Wendy Trilling is producing for TrillTV.
