The Hated (TV Series)

The Hated is a planned live-action Netflix TV series based on the Solid Comix title of the same name created by David F. Walker.

TV writer Michael Starrbury (When They See Us) sold the series to Netflix. Walker is also producing with Adrian Askarieh of Prime Universe and Sean Owolo.

The publisher's website provides this description of the comics, "The Hated is equal parts spaghetti western and blaxploitation thriller. Imagine if director Sergio Corbucci made a western starring Pam Grier as a badass, gun-slinging bounty hunter. Now imagine the story takes place in a world where the Civil War ended differently – instead of a victory for the North, there is a truce, and what had been one country is now two."
