Hagar the Horrible (TV Series)

Hagar The Horrible is a planned animated TV series based on the King Features comic strip by Dik Browne.

The comic strip chronicled the life of Hagar, a corpulent Viking who has to balance his sacking and looting with the obligations of being a father in the modern world.

The proposed TV series would be developed by King Features along with The Jim Henson Company, using the proprietary Henson Digital Puppetry Studio. The technology allows Henson puppeteers to steer animated images in real time.

Eric Ziobrowski (Fresh Off the Boat, American Dad) is set to write and produce the show.
