Glee Alum Joins Riverdale 5
Deadline reports that former Glee bad girl Erinn Westbrook has joined the cast of Riverdale for its fifth season. Westbrook will play Tabitha Tate, the entrepreneurial granddaughter of Pop Tate (played by Alvin Sanders). She has a plan to take over Pop's diner and franchise it across the world. Season five is currently in productions.
Kingsman Franchise to Expand into TV
A report of an executive hire at Matthew Vaughn's production company MARV reveals plans to expand the Kingsman franchise beyond the upcoming prequel The King's Man and into television. A report from Deadline has the company hiring former Lionsgate Europe CEO Zygi Kamasa as Group CEO. He'll be tasked with expanding Kingsman into additional films as well as TV series. The King's Man, which was slated for this summer, is not scheduled for a February 2021 release.
