Riverdale Adds Chris O'Shea
Actor Chris O'Shea will be appearing on Riverdale in a major recurring role, according to a report from Deadline. The actor is set to play Percival Pickens, who will shape up to be an adversary to Archie (K.J. Apa). He's described as a "manipulative, powerful and extremely dangerous" character who aims to reshape the town according to his own utopian vision. The actor has been seen recently recurring on the Netflix series You.
Naomi Gets Season One Poster
The social campaign is cranking up on the new DC Comics series Naomi. Yesterday The CW released the first trailer for the show. Today we have a new season one poster. The key art features lead actor Kaci Walfall as the skateboard-carrying heroine of the series. She's got a swirl of otherworldly energy around her and the logo treatment taken straight from the comics. We also see the peculiar tagline, "Don't believe everything you think," possibly alluding to the character's extraterrestrial origins that have been hidden beneath implanted memories. The new series arrives January 11.
Kingsman 3 To Roll Cameras Next Year
With The King's Man arriving in theaters next week, director/producer Matthew Vaughn is out talking up the franchise. The filmmaker shared with Comicbook.com that he plans to return to the present-day storyline of the franchise next year. He's already written the script which would wrap up the storyline for Taron Egerton's Eggsy character. According to Vaugh, plans are to begin filming Kingsman 3 next September.
