Paramount Options Stray Dogs for Animation
Paramount Animation has optioned the upcoming Image Comics title Stray Dogs for an animated feature film. Mark Perez (Game Night) is set write the script. Gary Dauberman (It, Annabelle) is producing under his banner, Coin Operated. Tony Fleecs and Trish Forstner created the comic.
Walking Dead Universe Experience to air on IMDb TV
AMC aims to launch a curated streaming bundle called The Walking Dead Universe Experience on IMDb TV, according to a report from Deadline. The channel, one of six that AMC and IMDb are launching, will carry content from The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead, Ride with Norman Reedus and Friday Night in with The Morgans (the lockdown chat series hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and wife Hilarie Burton).
Wonder Woman Officially Moves to Christmas
Confirming earlier reports of another scheduling delay, a new report from Deadline tells us that Wonder Woman 1984 is now set to be released on December 25, 2020. The studio already has Dune opening the week prior but is apparently hoping that the theatrical markets will firm up sufficiently to support two tentpoles. The move is not surprising given the fluid nature of the film industry in the pandemic world.
