Doumit and Minifie Promoted to Series Regulars for The Boys 3
Deadline reports that actresses Claudia Doumit and Colby Minifie are set as series regulars for The Boys season three. Minifie (currently the lead villain on Fear The Walking Dead) has been a recurring character on the show since season one as Vought publicist Ashley Barrett who is promoted to VP of Hero Management in season two. Doumit joined the show this season as Congresswoman Victoria Newman, who crusades against the mega-hero corporation and figured prominently in the later episodes. Season two ended with Hughie (Jack Quaid) joining her staff to continue his anti-hero work in a more legitimate fashion.
Steve Agee Joins Peacemaker Cast
Actor Steve Agee, who appears in the upcoming film The Suicide Squad, has joined the cast of the movie's HBO Max spinoff series Peacemaker. According to a report from Deadline, he'll be playing John Economos, warden of Belle Reve Federal Penitentiary and ally to Amanda Waller. Deadline also claims Agee is the voice of King Shark in the film as well, contrary to our past, incorrect speculation that Taika Waititi was voicing that character. There is no word if Waller (played by Viola Davis in the film) has a part in the show. James Gunn is developing Peacemaker, starring John Cena, for the streamer.
