Mental Organism Designed Only for Kancellation
Hulu has pulled the plug on one of the last vestiges of Marvel's legacy Television division. Deadline reports that the streamer has cancelled Marvel's M.O.D.O.K. after only one season. The move isn't surprising as it's been almost a year since the animated series first arrived on Hulu and there's been no talk of continuing it. The series was among a wave of programming developed for Hulu, which included Cloak & Dagger, Runaways, Helstrom and Hit-Monkey, all of which are cancelled now except for Hit-Monkey. Other planned series like Howard the Duck and Tigra & Dazzler never saw the light of day.
The Boys Releases Payback Poster Ahead of Trailer Drop
The social campaign for The Boys has released a new poster promoting the upcoming third season. The poster feature looks to be a Struzan-esque work of key art for the movie Payback, which would focus on the super-tame of the same name, which is basically The Avengers in the world of the show. Jensen Ackles is front and center as Soldier Boy (the Captain America analogue). Over his shoulder are Laurie Holden as Crimson Countess (roughly Scarlet Witch's equivalent). Black Noir is also present as well as a host of other characters.
The good news here is that fans are also promised a new trailer for the third season on Monday.
