Tales of The Walking Dead Gets August Release
AMC has announced the release date for its Tales of the Walking Dead spin-off series. The new anthology series is set to debut its first episode August 21 at 9pm on AMC. At the same time the first two episodes will be available on AMC+. New episodes will roll out weekly on both outlets after that.
Season one is comprised of six, one-hour standalone episodes focusing on both new and established characters from within the world of the franchise.
The series stars Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Samantha Morton (reprising her role as Alpha from The Walking Dead), Terry Crews (Deadpool 2), Parker Posey (Blade: Trinity), Anthony Edwards (WeCrashed), Poppy Liu (Dead Ringers), Jillian Bell (Rough Night), Loan Chabanol (Fading Gigolo), Embeth Davidtz (Old), Jessie T. Usher (The Boys), Daniella Pineda (Cowboy Bebop), Danny Ramirez (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier), amongst others.
Gaiman Posts The Sandman Key Art, Releasing in August
Coinciding with Netflix's Geeked Week, which kicked off earlier today, comics creator Neil Gaiman as posted new key art from The Sandman on social media. The image featuring Morpheus and his raven Matthew at the foot of an immense staircase, which leads up to what may be his castle in the dreaming. The tagline reads, "Dream the World Anew."
Netflix followed that post with three more character posters featuring stars Tom Sturridge as Morpheus, with his helm, Boyd Holbrook as The Corinthian and Jenna Coleman as Johanna Constantine.
The updated posters also reveal a release date of August 5.
