The Simpsons | Loki Variant Found in Springfield
Disney+ has announced some cross-brand synergy with the upcoming animated special The Simpsons: The Good, The Bart and The Loki. The short episode will cross over the long-running animated series with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Tom Hiddleston (currently starring in Marvel Studios' Loki on the streamer) will provide the voice for the God of Mischief as he finds himself (or some variant of himself) in Springfield.
Disney+ also released a poster for the event, with a poster riffing on the artwork for Avengers: Endgame. The episode will be available July 7.
Black Panther 2 Rolls Cameras
Variety reports that production on the challenging sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has commenced. Filming under the direction of Ryan Coogler started Tuesday at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, GA, according to producer Kevin Feige. The Marvel Studios chief, speaking at a fan event promoting their next release Black Widow, did not elaborate on plot or casting for the film. Wakanda Forever is a sequel to the breakout hit Black Panther, the star of which, Chadwick Boseman, passed away tragically last year.
