R-Rated Marvel Hits Disney+ Tomorrow
Hold onto your parental controls, Disney+ subscribers! Variety reports that three of the edgiest films featuring Marvel characters will be available on the streamer starting tomorrow. Deadpool, Deadpool 2 and Logan are set to debut July 22. All three titles, from the 20th Century Studios library, carry an R rating from the MPAA. To our knowledge, these are the first R rated titles to appear on Disney+, though the service tested the waters earlier in the year when it introduced Marvel's edgier Netflix series to the platform.
Resident Alien Set for Season 3
It looks like Resident Alien Harry Vanderspeigle is stuck on Earth for another season. Deadline reports that SYFY has greenlighted the popular series for a third run. The cabler aired eight episodes of season two already, with a hiatus that is set to end August 10 when episode 9 airs. Word is that that the third season will contain 12 episodes.
