Cyborg to Be Excised From The Flash Movie
Fans of the DC Extended Universe's Cyborg character shouldn't expect to see him in the upcoming feature film for The Flash.
The Wrap reports that the planned cameo and references to the character are being removed from the script after actor Ray Fisher publicly recused himself from ever working with the DCEU franchise. Specifically, Fisher said he would have no involvement with productions that had DC Films chief Walter Hamada attached. Yesterday Warner Media renewed Hamada's contract for another two years.
The Flash is set to feature several cameos, including Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton, both as alternate versions of Batman. It's uncertain if Warner will attempt to use the character with another actor in any other upcoming DCEU projects.
