Wonder Woman 3 Greenlit with Patty Jenkins
Warner Bros. is impressed with the returns on Wonder Woman 1984 in this locked-down film market, to the extent that they are fast-tracking another installment with director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot. Deadline reports that the current pic has raked in $85 million worldwide with $16.7 of that coming from the U.S. That's pretty impressive given the reduced number of theaters available for screenings, not to mention the fact that many are viewing the movie on HBO Max. Comments from WB chair Toby Emmerich indicate that a trilogy has always been planned for the DC Comics Amazon's big-screen story.
