David Ramsey Returns to Arrowverse as New Character

Actor David Ramsey, who has starred for years as John Diggle (aka Spartan) on Arrow, is set to return to The CW as both Diggle and a new character, according to a report by Deadline. The actor will be directing episodes of Arrowverse shows Supergirl and Superman & Lois. He'll also be appearing as Diggle on those shows, as well as The Flash and Batwoman. Most interestingly, he'll have a "mystery role" on DC's Legends Of Tomorrow. Fans have long clamored for the actor to take up the role of Green Lantern, and the series finale of Arrow seemed to tip that.
