Naomi Wraps First Week of Production
A tweet from Warner Bros. Television confirms for us that the the DC Comics series Naomi is in production. The social post declares, "rolling into the weekend with one week of production in the books for Naomi," and features a photo of leading lady Kaci Walfall with a production clapperboard.
DC's Stargirl Adds Sportsmaster and Tigress as Series Regulars
Actors Neil Hopkins and Joy Osmanski have been promoted to series regulars for season three of DC's Stargirl. The pair have appeared frequently in seasons one and two as the villains Sportsmaster and Tigress. They returned in this week's episode to protect their teenage daughter, Artemis (Stella Smith).
Wednesday Addams Cast Explodes
A new report from Deadline details 10 new additions to the cast of Netflix's Wednesday. The Addams Family spinoff series has cast Hunter Doohan, seen recently in ShowTime's Your Honor, as Tyler, a student at Nevermore Academy who takes a liking to Wednesday. Emma Myers will play Wednesday's roommate, and her sunny, upbeat opposite number. Also cast as students, some of whom have supernatural abilities, are Georgie Farmer (Evermoor), Moosa Mostafa, Naomi J. Ogawa, Joy Sunday and Percy Hynes White (The Gifted).
Thora Birch (The Walking Dead) is on board to play the dorm mother who has no connection to the supernatural. Riki Lindhome (Knives Out) is cast as Wednesday's therapist. Jamie McShane (SEAL Team) is the local sheriff, father to Tyler and arch-rival of Gomez Addams (Luis Guzman) himself.
The cast already includes Jenna Ortega in the title role, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams.
