Prime Video To Feature a Trio of Bat-Toons
Prime Video today announced the acquisition of three new Batman-related animations projects from Warner Bros. Animation.
First up is one we already knew about: Batman: Caped Crusader, the new series from Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves and J.J. Abrams. Word leaked last month that Prime would carry that series, after HBO Max abandoned plans for it.
The second acquisition is Merry Little Batman, an animated holiday movie. This is a humorous take on the material, in which young Damian Wayne has a home alone adventure on Christmas Eve and must transform into "Little Batman," to save Wayne Manor from invading villains.
The third program is Bat-Family a series spinning-off from Merry Little Batman. This finds Bruce, Alfred and Damian as they, "navigate the fun and frustrations of life as a super family."
No start dates are given for any of the programming.
