The Umbrella Academy | Drops the Deuces for Season 3
The social campaign for The Umbrella Academy has released two new pieces of key art promoting season three. Following the pattern of recent drops, we now have posters of the Number Two members of the original team and the Sparrow team.
The #2 Sparrow is Ben Hargreaves, played by Justin Min. Fans of the series know Min has been playing Ben as a core member of the original team from the start. However, his character has been dead though most of the series and interacting with the team via ghost-whispering Klaus. At the end of season two, Ben seemed to have been released from his purgatory state and moved on to being truly dead once and for all, only to reappear after the time-jump as the leader of the Sparrow Team. Bem also has the red, action suit the Sparrows have been wearing in the poster art.
The returning #2 from The Umbrella team is David Castaneda as the knife-throwing Diego. The new season arrives on Netflix June 22.
