Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties is 20th Century Studios' 2006 sequel to Garfield: The Movie, both based on the comic-strip character created by Jim Davis.
When Dr. Liz Wilson (Jennifer Love Hewitt) goes on a business trip to London, Jon Arbuckle (Breckin Meyer) follows her there, planning to surprise her with a wedding proposal. Jon's pets Garfield (voiced by Bill Murray) and Odie stow-away in his luggage and arrive there with him. In a case of mistaken identity, Garfield switches places with Prince XII (Tim Curry), an identical orange tabby who has inherited a fortune from his late human companion Lady Eleanor Carlyle. Garfield must now contend with the vengeful Lord Dargis (Billy Connolly), who believes he should have inherited Lady Carlyle's estate.
Tim Hill directed the movie from a script by Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow.
Garfield: A Tail of Two Kitties was derided by critics and failed at the box office.
