Daredevil is the 2015 Netflix television series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It was the first TV show launched in the Marvel Netflix Universe.
The first season finds young lawyers Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Franklin "Foggy" Nelson (Elden Henson) struggling to start their own law practice. They take on the case of whistleblower Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Murdock ends up defending her from attackers as well using his super human abilities. Ultimately they are drawn into a war with Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), the Kingpin of New York City causing him to eventually assume the identity of Daredevil.
Subsequent seasons introduced Elektra (Elodie Yung), Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) and The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) who was spun-off into his own series.
The series was well-received by critics and fans alike.
