Captain America: Brave New World is a 2024 Marvel Studios feature film based on characters from Marvel Comics. It is a direct sequel to The Falcon And The Winter Soldier and will be the fourth in the Captain America Film Series.
Anthony Mackie is returning, and starring as Sam Wilson, formerly The Falcon and now having fully accepted the role of the country's greatest hero.
Returning from the TV series are Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly.
Tim Blake Nelson will reprise his role from 2008's The Incredible Hulk as the film's villain, The Leader. Liv Tyler is also returning in the role of Betty Ross.
New cast members include Harrison Ford, taking over the role of General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross from the late William Hurt, Shira Haas as the Israeli super-soldier Sabra and Xosha Roquemore.
Julius Onah (Luce) is attached to direct. Malcolm Spellman, who wrote The Falcon and the Winter Soldier TV series, is set to write the script for the film. He'll partner on the screenplay with Dalan Musson, who was a staff writer on the show.
The movie was originally referred to as Captain America: New World Order, until a June 2023 social media post revealed the current title.
