Ant-Man is the 2015 Marvel Studios live-action feature film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is the first film in the Ant-Man film series.
Paul Rudd stars as Scott Lang, an ex-con who breaks into the home and steals what fans know is the Ant-Man suit. Lang and his crew were manipulated by Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), inventor of the suit and former Ant-Man, who was looking to keep his shrinking technology out of the hands of the scheming Darren Cross (Corey Stoll). Cross has pushed Pym out of his own company and is looking to weaponize the technology in the form of a "Yellowjacket" battle suit.
Evangeline Lilly co-stars as Hope Van Dyne, daughter of Pym and the original Wasp. Michael Peña, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer and Randall Park also star.
Peyton Reed directed the film from a script by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Adam McKay and Rudd.
Ant-Man is followed by Captain America: Civil War and Ant-man And The Wasp.
