The Comics2Film piepline never stops flowing with lots of new stuff coming your way next week. Here's the rundown.
- August 4:
- Preacher returns to AMC for its fourth and final season with a two-hour premiere. Jesse', Tulip and Cassidy's final confrontation with God and the Grail begins here.
- August 5:
- Legion season 3, episode 7, "Chapter 26" airs on FX. The penultimate chapter of of Noah Hawley's visionary X-Men show finds David and his legion of splintered personalities coming into final conflict with the Shadow King.
- August 6:
- Batman: Hush arrives on the home entertainment market. Enjoy this DC Universe adaptation of the popular graphic novel on 4kUHD and Blu-Ray.
- Pokemon: Detective Pikachu hits the disc market. This one stars Justice Smith and the voice talent of Ryan Reynolds. It's mostly for younger audiences but funny enough for older fans too.
- August 7:
- Krypton season 2, episode 9, "Blood Moon." Seg-El reunites with his father Val-El to aid the Rebels as General Zod threatens to unleash Doomsday! Watch it on SYFY.
- August 9:
- iZombie season 5 arrives on Netflix. The first four season are already there, so you can start binging the entire run now!
- The Kitchen arrives in theaters. Adapted from the DC/Vertigo graphic novel by Ollie Masters and Ming Doyle, this one stars Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elizabeth Moss as 1978 mob wives who take the failing family ciminal enterprise into their own hands.
