August 25
Fear the Walking Dead - season 5, episode 11, "You're Still Here" airs on AMC. As Alicia struggles to find her new role in the convoy, she's drawn to mysterious artwork; a simple scouting trip is derailed when she and Strand are thrust into a conflict between desperate survivors; Morgan and Al hit a roadblock.
Preacher - season 4, episode 5, "Bleak City", also on AMC. Tulip makes her way to Cassidy and Eugene catches up with his Preacher -- though this reunion might be cut short by the Saint of Killers; Starr struggles to keep track of the many players of the apocalypse as the Grail's agenda threatens to unwind.
August 27
The Flash - Season 5 arrives on the Blu-Ray and DVD market. Team Flash is joined by XS, Barry and Iris' teenage, speedster daughter from the future. She's on a mission to stop the mysterious villain Cicada from killing her father.
August 28
Spider-Man: Far From Home swings back into theaters for a special edition re-release. This is an extended cut of the movie that features previously-unseen, finished action sequence.
August 31
Hellboy II: The Golden Army is Guillermo del Toro's second and last (official) Hellboy movie. It becomes available to subscribers of Amazon Prime.
I, Frankenstein also arrives on Amazon Prime. This one stars Aaron Eckhardt in an adaptation of Kevin Grevioux's comic book vision for Mary Shelley's monster.
