Black Cotton Star (Film)

Black Cotton Star is the planned feature film from ZQ Entertainment based on the Pegasus Books graphic of the same name by Yves Sente and Steve Cuzor.

Reginald Hudlin is attached to direct the film from a script by Deric Hughes and Benjamin Raab.

Hudlin is also producing along with Adrian Askarieh under his Prime Universe shingle. Ara Keshishian and Petr Jakl are producing for ZQ. Martin J Barab is executive producing. Sente and Cuzor are also executive producers.

The story focuses on a black World War II soldier named Lincoln and his two platoon mates who embark on a personal mission to reclaim the first ever American flag sewn by Betsy Ross, with the belief that the flag contains a hidden star, placed there by Ross' housemaid Angela Brown.
