The Rocketeer is a 2019 animated series spinning-off from the acclaimed comics series of the same name created by Dave Stevens.
While Stevens' comic (and the 1991 live-action film adapted from it) was set in the 1930s, this series is set in contemporary times. In it a young girl named Kit Secord (voiced by Kitana Turnbull) inherits the helmet and rocket pack of the original Rocketeer, her great grandfather Cliff Secord.
Joining Turnbull in the voice cast are Kathy Najimy as her mom, Billy Campbell (who played Cliff in the 1991 film) as her dad, Frank Welker as Grandpa Ambrose (and Butch the Bulldog), Callan Farris as Kit's pal Tesh and Navia Robinson as Valerie Valkyrie.
