Teen Titans is a 2003 Cartoon Network animated TV series based on the DC Comics characters of the same name.
The highly-successful animated series took the core characters of the Marvel Wolfman/George Perez run of the comics and updated them with an anime vibe. Robin (Scott Menville), Starfire (Hynden Walch), Cyborg (Khary Payton), Beast Boy (Greg Cipes) and Raven (Tara Strong) comprise the core group who initially battled Deathstroke (Ron Perlman).
Developed by Glen Murakami and Sam Register, the series ran for five season of 65 episodes. It was a hit with fans and critics alike. It was later revived for a handful of shorts called New Teen Tians that were part of the DC Nation programming that appeared on Cartoon Network. The series was also spun off as the aged-down, comedy-centric Teen Titans Go!, which reunited the core cast. Both versions of the show were combined in the feature-length cartoon film Teen Titans Go! vs Teen Titans.
