Swamp Thing (1991 Animated Series)

Swamp Thing is a 1991 animated Fox Kids series based on the DC Comics character created by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson.

This series was developed to support a Kenner line of action figures based on the character, who was enjoying a successful live-action TV run on USA Network. Len Carlson provides the voice of Swamp Thing while Don Francks voices Anton Arcane. The show is most note-worthy for its theme song which was a riff on Chip Taylor's rock and roll classic, "Wild Thing."

Only five episodes were created, with the initial, pilot episode airing in 1990, and the remaining arriving on Fox Kids in 1991.
