Superman: Doomsday
Superman: Doomsday is the 2007 DC Universe movie adapting the DC Comics story arc The Death and Return of Superman.
Superman (Adam Baldwin) faces his greatest threat as he battles, and is killed by, a raging monster Doomsday. In the aftermath, Lex Luthor (Jame Marsters) unleashes a new Superman under his control, a being that proves to be a clone of the original. A Kryptonian robot from the Fortress of Solitude (Tom Kenny) manages to revive the real Clark Kent, thus setting into motion the Man of Steel's true return.
Bruce Timm, Lauren Montgomery and Brandon Vietti directed the movie from a script by Duane Capizzi. The storyline was adapted again, more faithfully, as The Death Of Superman and Reign Of The Supermen.
