The official twitter for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse has tweeted out what looks to be the release date for a sequel to the amazing animated feature film.
The tweet is vague, only offering the dimensional-glitching Spider-Man logo with "2022" imposed on it and the phrase April 8, 2022 #SpiderVerse.
The date was confirmed on Twitter by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, (producers of the original) and Sony Pictures Animation.
