Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is Sony Pictures Animation's animated feature film based on Marvel Comics' Spider-Man and related characters. It is a direct sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the second film in the Spider-Verse film series.
Shameik Moore is reprises his role as Miles Morales, who is now the primary Spider-Man in his reality. Hailee Steinfeld returns as Spider-Gen. New additions to the cast include Issa Rae as Jessica Drew, better known as Spider-Woman. Spider-Man 2099 also figures into this story.
The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (Superman/Shazam: The Return Of Black Adam), Kemp Powers (Soul) and Justin K. Thompson. Phil Lord, Chris Miller and David Callaham (Shang-Chi) have written the script.
Lord and Miller, who produced the original, are producing as well. Also producing are Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Christina Steinberg. Peter Ramsey, who directed the original, is executive producing.
