Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is Sony Pictures Animation's 2023 animated feature film based on Marvel Comics' Spider-Man and related characters. It is a direct sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the second film in the Spider-Verse film series.
Shameik Moore returns as Miles Morales who, according to press materials, will team with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) and "a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered." Jake Johnson also returns as Peter Parker.
New additions to the cast include Issa Rae as Jessica Drew, better known as Spider-Woman, Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man Miguel O'Hara of 2099 and Jason Schwartzman as The Spot. The cast also includes Daniel Kaluuya, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone and Shea Whigham.
The film is to be directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (Superman/Shazam: The Return Of Black Adam), Kemp Powers (Soul) and Justin K. Thompson. Phil Lord, Chris Miller and David Callaham (Shang-Chi) have written the script.
Lord and Miller, who produced the original, are producing as well. Also producing are Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Christina Steinberg. Peter Ramsey, who directed the original, is executive producing.
