Rumble (Film)

Rumble is the 2021 animated feature from Paramount Animation based on the Top Shelf Productions graphic novel Monster on The Hill by Rob Harrell.

In a world where monster wrestling is a global sport and monsters are superstar athletes, teenage Winnie (Geraldine Viswanathan) seeks to follow in her father’s footsteps by coaching the loveable underdog monster, Steve Rayburn Jr. (Will Arnett), into a champion. The voice cast of the film also includes Terry Crews, Charles Barkley, and Ben Schwartz.

Hamish Grieve directs from a script he co-wrote with Matt Lieberman.

The film departs significantly from its graphic novel source, transplanting the story from an 1800s village in England in need of a hero, to a modern city in need of a WWE-style wrestling champ. WWE are co-producers of the film.
