Resident Alien doesn't just have a top-shelf comedy cast lead by Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko and Corey Reynolds. Look for regular guests like Linda Hamilton, Terry O'Quinn and meme-generating alien hunter Giorgio on the new series, starting January 27 on SYFY.
Resident Alien is the 2021 SYFY Channel TV series adaptation of the Dark Horse Entertainment comic book series created by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse.
From SYFY: Resident Alien follows Harry, an alien played by Alan Tudyk (Firefly) that crash lands on Earth and passes himself off as a small-town human doctor. Arriving with a secret mission, Harry starts off living a simple life…but things get a bit rocky when he’s roped into solving a local murder and realizes he needs to assimilate into his new world. As he does so, he begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his mission and asking the big life questions like: "Are human beings worth saving?" and "Why do they fold their pizza before eating it?"
Sara Tomko (Sneaky Pete), Corey Reynolds (The Closer), Alice Wetterlund (Silicon Valley) and Levi Fiehler (Mars) also star. Linda Hamilton (Terminator), Mandell Maughan and Alex Barima are also set for recurring roles.
Chris Sheridan (Family Guy) has adapted the show for SYFY.
