Based on the acclaimed comic book series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, Preacher tells the story of Jesse Custer, a hard-living wreck of a priest in a small Texas church who becomes possessed by the supernatural ability to make people do whatever he says. Aided by a wayward, Irish vampire named Cassidy, and his former partner-in-crime Tulip, Custer embarks on a quest to expose God himself.

Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Joseph Gilgun and Ruth Negga. It was developed for AMC television by Sam Catlin, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The first season aired in 2016. The fourth and final season debuts in August of 2019.
