Powers is the 2015 live-action PlayStation Network TV series based on the comic series of the same name created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming.
The series attempts to capture the police procedural-in-a-superhero-world tone of the comic, casting Sharlto Copley as Christian Walker, a Los Angeles police detective specializing in Powers-related (superhuman) crimes. He's paired with newcomer Deena Pilgrim (Susan Heyward) as they investigate the death of the Power known as Olympia. Noah Taylor, Michelle Forbes and Eddie Izzard also appear.
The series was developed by Bendis and Charlie Huston as part of Sony's bid to enter the streaming arena.
Powers failed to connect with critics or audiences and seemed to sink PlayStation Network's plans for original programming. It ran for two seasons for a total of 20 episodes.
