Powerless (2017 TV Series)

Powerless is the 2017 live-action NBC sitcom set in the fictional universe found in DC Comics.

Vanessa Hudgens stars as Emily, the director of research at Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises. The firm, headed by Bruce Wayne's inept cousin Vanderveer Wayne (Alan Tudyk) develops products that help ordinary people cope with the dangers of living in a world where super human battles are commonplace. The cast is rounded out by Christina Kirk as Van's assistant, and Danny Pudi (Community) and Ron Funches (Harley Quinn) as tech developers. Conceived as a workplace comedy the show also featured regular appearances by Deanna Russo and Atlin Mitchell as the DC superhero Crimson Fox.

The series was developed by Ben Queen. It was generally panned by critics and shunned by fan. NBC ran only 9 of the 12 episodes it had ordered before cancelling the series.
