Not sure what to watch next on streaming? Here's the first ten minutes of the entertaining live-action Pokemon: Detective Pikachu, courtesy of Warner Bros Home Entertainment.

Tim Goodman once dreamed of becoming a Pokémon trainer. When he learns his father, a police detective, has died, Tim travels to Ryme City. There he is befriended by his father's Pokémon partner, Pikachu. Both boy and monster are startled to realize they can talk to one another, and they become determined to unravel the mystery of Detective Goodman's death.

Justice Smith stars as Tim and Ryan Reynolds hilariously voices the most adorable of all the Pokémon.

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu is directed by Rob Letterman.
